On June 1, CEIBS Global EMBA Interschool Club collaborated with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Alumni Association (Shanghai Chapter) to hold an event designed to explore the widespread applications of ChatGPT and AI in Business. Held at the CEIBS Lujiazui International Institute of Finance, 75 students and alumni participated, representing a wide range of industries and sectors – all of which have a vested interest in understanding the future direction of these world-changing technologies.

All business school students (and alumni as lifelong learners) aspire to stand at the forefront of business development trends and gain a detailed understanding of what factors may shape their industry next. This well attended and extremely well received event enabled all its attendees to gain some invaluable cross-industry insights into the road ahead for AI and specific platforms like ChatGPT.  

The CEIBS Global EMBA Interschool Club was established in April 2022. Its mission is to create a platform for CEIBS GEMBA to connect, communicate and collaborate with various Global EMBA alumni. Its leadership and members intend to take the initiative and be proactive in forging connections between the CEIBS Global EMBA community and other prominent business schools. To date, the club has worked with Mannheim-Tongji business school, INSEAD business school and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Alumni Association (Shanghai Chapter), resulting in the delivery of four major events involving more than 300 students and alumni.
