The CEIBS Alumni Shanghai Chapter (Jiading District) was established in 2012 with strong support of CEIBS alumna and then-Deputy Head of Jiading District Fei Xiaomei and former CEIBS President Zhu Xiaoming. The chapter was also designated as the CEIBS Innovation and Start-up Base. It has grown from 100 alumni to 300 alumni from different classes and industries.

Led by President Song Mei (EMBA2011), the Jiading Chapter is committed to serving alumni by building a platform for common development. Jiading is an important manufacturing base in Shanghai and many CEIBS alumni work in the manufacturing industry. Therefore, the Jiading Chapter positions itself according to its regional and industrial characteristics and organises featured activities such as the grape festival, company visits, and special trips.
