The Shenzhen Chapter boasts a membership of over 1,700 individuals from a wide range of industries in Shenzhen and neighboring cities.

On January 10, 2004, the Shenzhen Chapter was officially established to better help Shenzhen alumni advance their careers, build friendships and make progress together. The Shenzhen Chapter serves as a platform that promotes mutual understanding and cooperation among alumni and helps them achieve greater success. Since its inception, the Chapter has hosted a variety of events that have fostered communication and cohesion among alumni.

On October 13, 2022, the Chapter completed the election of its 7^th Council. The leadership team of the 7^th Council, elected at its 1^st meeting, consists of:
